Hello, my name is Alecxis Reyes. I have been an education specialist for eight years. I graduated Fresno State University with a Masters Degree in 2019 in Special Education as a distinguished alumna - earning a cumulative GPA of a 4.0. I am currently attending Fresno State to earn a preliminary credential in Education Administration, with dreams to further develop as a school-site leader. I aspire to be a heart-worker, driven by my passion to help and serve others. I am passionate about serving all students, while simultaneously instilling high expectations and rigor to prepare students for a bright future. I am committed to bettering the lives of our youth and supporting all students to work at their highest potential.

As an education specialist, I am dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students with special needs. I am passionate about leveraging my knowledge and experience to create inclusive learning environments for all students. I have extensive knowledge in special education state and national laws. My knowledge in special education laws and education code allow me to advocate for students with exceptional needs. Transparency, honesty, competence, and evidence-based practices are crucial qualities that I portray as an education specialist. I posses a high level of interpersonal skills that allows me to display a strong sense of leadership skills to support both students and colleagues. My goal as an educator is to further narrow the achievement gaps that currently exist within schools by utilizing equity-driven practices to help students be successful.
